STOP!

No, don’t stop, keep reading, STOP is the name of the exercise.

Get treats or better yet use their meal and pretend like it’s treats.

Do this together or separate.

For no apparent reason, say STOP!

Encourage dogs to come to you.

Say “good” and treat each dog.

Repeat 4 times (4 stops) 4 sets a day for total of 16 stops.

Reason for this exercise is to break up dog fights without touching dogs and to make a more positive association with each other.

One thing that “could” happen, is dogs can “pretend” they are fighting to get you to say STOP.  That’s okay. It means you did it correctly because the nature of the “fight” is really play instead of anger.  If that happens, then you just reward them for not fighting.
